Inevitably, you will have to miss class at some point during the school year.
Missing ONE day of school:
- You can view the lecture from the website. You will probably want to see Mr. Aiu for additional help
- If you are absent the day before a test/quiz, you will be expected to take the test/quiz with everyone else.
- If you are absent the day of a test/quiz, you will have TWO SCHOOL DAYS to make up the test/quiz. Failure to do so in the time allotted will result in a grade of zero.
- If you are absent the day a POW is due, your POW must still be turned in on time. (Suggestion: Turn it in early so you don't have to worry about it.)
Missing TWO days of school:
- You can view the lecture from the website. You will probably still need to see Mr. Aiu for additional help with the homework.
- If the schedule indicates no new learned material during the absence and there is a test/quiz scheduled on the day of your return, you will be expected to take the test/quiz with everyone else.
- If you are absent the day of a test/quiz, you will have THREE SCHOOL DAYS to make up the test/quiz. Failure to do so in the time allotted will result in a grade of zero.
- If you are absent the day a POW is due, your POW must still be turned in on time. (Suggestion: Turn it in early so you don't have to worry about it.)
Missing THREE OR MORE days of school:
- If at all possible, contact Mr. Aiu and let him know. He will create a customized make up schedule for you.
