EPLS 654: Building Your Technology Education and Skills |

| This is a course specifically designed for YOU…the teacher as an individual. We take a timeout from ‘I need to use a computer to get this done’ and take time to look at ‘what can this thing do for me?’ This course has the most diverse and independent curricula to suit the needs of the participants. No need to feel like anything beyond a beginner. We’ll take an in-depth look at menu bars, shortcut bars, the desktop, Word, and a beginner’s look at Excel and PowerPoint. Who knows? We may even get an introduction to Access as well as Photo Story. | ||

| EPLS 615: Classroom Management: Orchestrating a Community of Learners (CM) | ||
| Whether you are a first year teacher or like your instructor in his 26th year (yikes) of teaching, we can always use a brush up on our classroom management. Presented (and experienced) of course is an opportunity to learn about the latest in classroom management, examine your own classroom, and have a chance to discuss in open forum some of the classroom management issues which occur at the college level. You’ll get a chance to share what works for you, the struggles you encounter, and ideas for improvement. Turn that first day of the semester reviewing the syllabus into a positive experience for all!!! | ||
